Dog Obedience - Double Trial
Sunday, 14 September 2008
9:00 AM
Northern Obedience Dog Club will host this double Obedience Trial with the morning session starting at 9am and the afternoon trial starting at 12:30pm.
Competitive Obedience is more than just "sit and stay" and requires the dog to follow a series of commands, some from a long distance, including retrieve, jumping over obstacles, off-lead heel work and, of course, there is a bit of sit and stay.
It is great fun to watch these impressive dogs, and there is no cost to attend so bring the whole family!
We ask spectators to leave their own dogs at home so as not to distract the competitors. If you are interested in training your dog in Obedience, please contact the club.
